this discussion remind me of the video from manzai show, where the guy who told scary stories to arashi in HnA talking about how arashi is like perfect group because they have a good balance, and mentioned about how Ohno is incredible. He talked about how SMAP got so famous probably because there’s yankee (Nakai) in their group too.
Btw, about Ohno feminine/not feminine discussion. He easily mistaken as woman because of his features actually. Anatomically speaking, especially his side profile is so soft (like you said), the jaw line and his teeth shape are common in woman (you can check on google about the anatomical difference of man and woman). Agree that he looked like ancient people/painting came to live. My friends even said he looked like geisha after i showed her Maou. I don’t think he looks pretty with make up and wig tho, he’s prettier without them and we can’t deny that (eventhough maybe like u said he’s not feminine and all) but he’s definitely often mistaken as girl, even with short hair cut and not androgynous clothing.
